D-BANK Foundation and Kaitai Bank of Thailand reach strategic cooperation to promote the implementation of DBM in Thailand

Recently, the D-BANK Foundation and Kasikornbank, the fourth largest bank in Thailand, reached a strategic cooperation to jointly issue digital currency payment cards, support recharge DBM, and be able to withdraw Thai baht from all ATM machines in Thailand. This cooperation will promote the implementation of DBM's payment application in Thailand and lay a solid foundation for the development of D-BANK's cross-border travel payment business.

Kai Tai Bank has a large market in Thailand and overseas. It has 824 branches throughout Thailand and 17 branches in 9 overseas countries. In September this year, as the first bank in Thailand to use blockchain technology, Kai Thai Bank announced its joining the Visa B2B Connect pilot program to help financial institutions handle cross-border B2B payment services through blockchain technology.

This cooperation brings two major advantages to the D-BANK ecosystem. First, DBM has truly realized seamless exchange between digital currencies and fiat currencies, and has strengthened the circulation and value attributes of DBM. Second, DBM's cross-border travel payment business has opened up the Thai market, and will use Thailand as a fulcrum to open digital currency cross-border travel payment channels in more countries.

As early as June of this year, the D-BANK Foundation and KONA, a large financial institution in South Korea, reached a strategic cooperation to jointly issue a DBPay payment card, which can be recharged with DBM and can be used throughout Korea, whether it is duty-free shops, large supermarkets, or common Restaurants, cafes, as long as it supports swiping, you can use DBPay payment cards. In terms of cross-border travel payment, the D-BANK Foundation also cooperates with more than a dozen companies such as Thailand's JIE THAI TRAVEL GROUP, GINO Group, Osan City Government of Korea, Sun NCK, Dream Newzone, Rowon, Jplus cosmetics, SUIG GANG and Sea World. Institutions reached strategic cooperation to promote the implementation of DBM payments in South Korea and Thailand. The D-BANK Foundation stated that D-BANK Ecology will successively launch cross-border payment for travel in Southeast Asia, Europe and other countries, and plans to set up cross-border payment services for travel in 30 countries by 2020.
